Apartment rents have been climbing steadily for 6 years straight since 2009. The US economic recovery is the slowest since WW II. Vacancies are still declining and rents going higher. A new report from National Association of Realtors (September 2015) says mortgage interest rates are still near historic lows, although mortgage interest rates have risen slightly in the past year. Mortgage rates are projected to rise further in the coming twelve months.
