Company History:
Founded in 1986, Tierra Properties offers clients a full-service real estate company with a personal touch. We provide residential and commercial real estate service throughout the greater Los Angeles area. Our policy of treating each client as if he or she were our only client has allowed us to develop many mutually beneficial long-term professional relationships.
Through our affiliate RST & Associates, we offer full-service management of properties from single family homes to apartments to commercial and industrial real estate. We have a State-certified MAI (Member Appraisal Institute) appraiser on staff. Property tax audits and re-evaluations are also available. Because of our close involvement with the state and local political situation through the Apartment Association of Greater Los Angeles and the California Association of Realtors, we are able to advise clients regarding current and upcoming legislation that may affect their investment.

IRMA VARGAS
For over two decades, Tierra Properties founder and real estate broker Irma Vargas has taken leadership roles in the Los Angeles real estate community. Since 1990, she has been Director of the Apartment Association of Greater Los Angeles (AAGLA), an organization for which she was President in 1996-1997. Irma has served as State Director of the California Association of Realtors since 1988. She is President Elect of the Beverly Hills Greater Los Angeles Association of Realtors and Past President of the Santa Monica Board of Realtors. In addition, she is a member of the Santa Monica and West Los Angeles Chambers of Commerce. Irma specializes in Westside residential and greater Los Angeles income properties.
From 1989 to 1994, Irma was Director of the Santa Monica Chamber of Commerce, and from 1993 to present she has been Personnel Commissioner for the City of Santa Monica. She is a graduate of Loyola-Marymount University, where she majored in business with emphasis in accounting, and is married, with two children.
Deke Keasbey (Broker/Realtor) - Deke Keasbey has been a commercial real estate broker for the Los Angeles area for more than two decades. He specializes in commercial real estate in greater Los Angeles, with an emphasis on apartment properties in Westside LA and the Ventura Corridor. He is well known in the Los Angeles area for his ongoing, in-depth research and writings on real estate investment market trends.
Deke is a graduate of the University of Southern California, with studies in Urban Anthropology and Urban Planning and Demographics. He is a member of the California Association of Realtors, the Beverly Hills Greater Los Angeles Association of Realtors, AAGLA, Sons of the American Revolution, The Westerners, and the Historical Society of Southern California. His membership in the latter reflects his interest in California history and the development of the West.

ROD VARGAS
Rodrigo has been working in Real Estate in Los Angeles for 13 years. He started in Property Management then moved exclusively to the sell and purchase of residential and commercial properties in 2009. His knowledge of Los Angeles is a tremendous help to clients looking for properties in the greater Los Angeles area.
Rodrigo Vargas was born and raised in Santa Monica. He attended the schools in Santa Monica and spent 2 years at Santa Monica College before leaving the US to open Hotels internationally for a large hotel chain. Rodrigo used his bilingual and hospitality skills to open hotels in Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean.
After working over seas for about 12 years Rodrigo returned to the US with his wife and 3 daughters and jumped right into real estate, which was his goal before traveling.
Rodrigo Vargas believes that everyone has the opportunity to grow wealth through the acquisition and disposition of real estate which includes the purchase of a client’s first home. Rodrigo and the team at Tierra Properties work closely with all clients to make the buying or selling process as seamless as possible by walking with clients through every step.
Debbie Seanz is a 3rd Generation Los Angelian. She has seen California and more precisely West Los Angeles grow exponentially over the years! Debbie still lives in the Mar Vista area of Los Angeles (and has most of her life) and is the single mom of a now adult son, John.
Debbie joined the team in 2013 after CEO Irma Vargas offered her a job first in property management through the sister company, RST & Associates, and then as Irma’s and Rod’s Transaction Coordinator with Tierra Properties. She has now worked as a TC with Tierra Properties for the last 6 years. Working with people through their real estate transactions, Debbie feels she has grown as a person and a service provider. “Tierra Properties is company with a heart. And with that intention, we always try to guide our clients with a spirit of a teacher; educating them and helping them navigate the rough waters that are real estate today in Los Angeles.”

Sarah Vargas (PR/Marketing) - Sarah Vargas joined the Tierra Properties team in 2017, starting as an intern for the company. Now in marketing, she has created brochures, flyers, website content, and social media content for the team. She now also manages the website, social media, and electronic newsletters. Sarah has also assisted the sister property management company, RST & Associates, in data entry and general organization. Sarah acquired her real estate salesperson license in 2017 and assists in all aspects of real estate.
Sarah currently attends Azusa Pacific University pursuing a career in Public Relations. She has lived in California most of her life and is proud to call Los Angeles home.
