Their leisure time is singles-oriented: going to the beach or to a lake, taking foreign or domestic trips, visiting zoos and museums, attending live theaters and concerts, movie-going, casino gambling, and dancing. They are also very active in public activities. They spend their money on books, toys for children, and shoes. They read biweekly newspapers, watch cable television, and read magazines such as "Entertainment Weekly," "Cosmopolitan," "Vogue," and "Rolling Stone."
