Cheviot Hills / Rancho ParkCheviot Hills and Rancho Park offer more affordable Westside housing with spacious lots, rolling hills, and a low crime rate. Both communities offer easy access to the 10 and 405 freeways. Cheviot Hills is a very quiet bedroom community composed almost exclusively of upscale single family homes. It has no major thoroughfares. Rancho Park is separated from Cheviot Hills by a spacious greenbelt comprising the Cheviot Hills Park and Recreation Center and the Hillcrest Country Club. Rancho Park has two major thoroughfares, Olympic Blvd and Pico Blvd. The Westside Pavilion shopping center and the Century City Shopping Center are within a few minutes’ drive. The UCLA Medical Center and Century City Hospital are nearby. Twentieth Century Fox and the high-rise offices of Century City offer a local employment base. These two communities are bounded on the north by the upscale city of Beverly Hills, to the south by the more affordable middle class communities of Palms and Culver City, and to the west by the upwardly mobile, white-collar neighborhood of West Los Angeles. Cheviot Hills and Rancho Park offer easy access, via freeway, to downtown Los Angeles employment, together with the upscale amenities of Westside life. They are centrally located, with easy access to the Santa Monica Mountains, the beaches, the academic environment of UCLA, the chic shops of Beverly Hills, and the nightlife of Santa Monica.
